My Mother's Legacy

The death of my mom makes me feel lucky to have had her in my life for so long. She was intuitive, visionary and fierce in her convictions for truth. As I move forward into the unknown of my own future, I know that she is with me, in the bones that hold me up now, and in the unseen stardust around me. Her death gave me the most profound sadness I could ever know. In my grief I am more aware of how precious life is, and in my mourning, I plan for my own future, and what legacy I will leave behind.
