GAIA of a Thousand Faces, ceramic sculptures by Jaymes Dudding and paintings by Linda Storm

  • Semiotique Gallery 1807 2nd St #4 Santa Fe, NM, 87505 United States (map)

Here is part of the press release : In 2015 the art of renowned artists Jaymes Dudding and Linda Storm were juried into an exhibit and paired together by the curator. Their art introduced them to each other. Their duo exhibit, GAIA of a Thousand Faces, will open at 4:30 on Sunday September 15th, 2019.

Jaymes Dudding is a ceramic artist and sculptor, Linda Storm is an award winning painter. Six of her paintings in this upcoming exhibit debuted in Italy in Autumn 2018, and will be shown in the USA for the first time. See the blog page for television coverage of the Italian exhibit.

My personal note : As an artist, I’ve made it my lifelong project to resurrect the divine feminine from ancient global cultures and interpret it on canvases. My goddesses are painted to appear as carved and cracked grey stone, representing their ancient beginnings, as trees to represent earthly transformation, and constellations that tell of our celestial beginnings. The landscapes, the objects they possess, and the garments they wear are symbolic and archetypal references.
